• Undergraduate Diploma: 3 years
• Undergraduate Degree: 4 years
• MPhil: 2 years
• MPhil/PhD: 4 years + 6 months for MPhil to PhD transfer
• PhD: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Mauritius Government Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Undergraduate Programs: Applicants should be 18 years old or older and should not have reached their 26th birthday by January 1, 2025.

MPhil/PhD Programs: Applicants must not have reached 40 years of age by January 1, 2026.

Applicants must have already applied for a full-time on-campus program at a public higher education institution in Mauritius for the academic year beginning in 2025.
