Eligibility Criteria of the University of Bolton Student Scholarship:

To be considered for the Student Scholarship program, you must meet the eligibility criteria:

  • Students from the UK or Europe who will pay tuition fees to the University of Bolton in 2022/23 and who are eligible for and will receive Student Finance funding from either the Home or EU Government.
  • At the University of Bolton, you can study a Full-Time undergraduate course.
  • In September 2022, January 2023, or April/May 2023, students can begin their courses.
  • A bursary may be awarded to students starting on a foundation year (HE3), but only in years HE4, HE5, or HE6.
  • Providing evidence of being a carer or parent is required. Acceptable evidence is confirmation that you receive one of the following:
  • – Allowances for parents to learn.
    – The Child Benefits Program.
    – Grants for dependent adults.
    – Allowance for carers.
  • Blackbullion Budgeting modules will be compulsory for students.

  • Benefits of the University of Bolton Scholarship:

    Each student will receive a different amount for this award, based on predetermined criteria. Based on an assessment of their application, eligible students could receive between £100 and £700 per academic year.
