The same we humans have been preaching for years and the result is that we are now at the verge where life on earth will end soon if strict measures aren’t taken. Extinct to endangered species of plants and animals, decreasing water levels, constant melting of glaciers that has resulted in increase in temperature of earth surface. The impact of which could be seen through past few events such as constant fires in Amazon forest and in Australia also witnessed the same in year 2020. But we aren’t oblivious to the fact that we humans are solely responsible for the same yet we are not ready to bring the change thinking it isn’t our responsibility someone else will do it ,the government will take the measures . The quality of level has reduced to much extent and we have become ignorant not only to nature but people around as well and that is the reason that the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer while the economy as well seems to decrease at an alarming rate.
Keeping these things in mind the United States came forward to take steps to save nature and quality of life amongst humans.
Therefore, it proposed 17 United States sustainable development Goals.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with their 169 targets, form the core of the 2030 Agenda. They balance the economic, social and ecological dimensions of sustainable development, and place the fight against poverty and sustainable development on the same agenda for the first time.
Youth have been the most active one engaging themselves in working to make the agenda 2030 come true. Therefore the youth formed a community called WORLD MERIT ORGANIZATION which is a global youth movement that works directly with the United Nations to achieve their 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
World merit organization :
Few youngsters with a common mind set came together and formed this community who work directly with the United States and use the sustainable development Goals as their guide and they run a few practical projects to make a global impact and make these goals a success.
There are many young activists and organizations who are willing to work for the same agenda or are working on it and want to make a global impact. So a chance is provided to such alike people by the World Merit organization in its annual event named World merit summit.
What is WORLD MERIT SUMMIT?
The World Merit Summit is an annual event and biggest gathering. It brings together up to 500 young changemakers from all over the world. World Merit community and youth activists from around the globe, each of whom is excited to connect, learn, share and work together to develop a strategy and plan for significant impact framed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
From entrepreneurs to young activists and small organizations that work in their interested field of SDG’s and international guests who were able to bring the change in past few years to give their guidance and share their experiences. For one remarkable week these people with common vision come together, work together, share their ideas and thoughts and discuss the projects they can take up for bringing a long lasting impact globally.
It brings you a lifetime opportunity where one gets to learn, showcase your thoughts and also develop your personal skills and helps you recognize your own capabilities. Here you get the chance of making global impact by turning your ideas into actions and world merit has a wide network which brings you the one time opportunity of being under the guidance and mentorship of best global experienced leaders.

You can make the best of this one week time be it poverty , hunger ,economic or environmental issues I’m sure with over 500+ participants and from 38+ countries you can reach a very practical approach if bringing global change.

Anybody committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and wants to realise them as practical projects that benefit their own community and the wider world.
Anybody who is, or plans to be, engaged in a World Merit Council.
Anybody who is interested in learning more about World Merit and wants to be engaged in World Merit.
Anybody who sees themselves as future leaders and drivers of social change.
Anybody who wants to learn about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and wants to make an impact.
World Merit works 24*7 , 365 days a year even if they aren’t working physically they are busy making a better framework to work that impacts more and more people and the impact of their work and the fields of working can be viewed through its monthly report. Out of 17 goals it has worked incredibly for 9 goals as per its latest report of january 2020.
“The earth is what we have all in common.” Therefore it is the responsibility of each one of us to work for its betterment, the least we could do is to atleast acknowledge the efforts of those who are busy feeding the hungry who are busy saving the animals and the ones who are working hard to provide you all with your daily essentials. If there are few amongst our youth who are conscious about these issues then why can’t the rest of us? Our education is baseless if now at the verge of the end we can’t understand the seriousness of the problems.
